Forum

Find a practice pack on Forum and bring it into Find a tune.

A browser is for reading and saving. Import, comments, and posts are Feelism’s Forum. Browser Read Save the file Feelism’s Forum Import a pack Comments and posts
Forum, next to Find a tune, is the screen inside the app.

This is where practice packs from other players go into Find a tune. The list is not one tune at a time. Each post is one gathered file (a ZIP).

Open it

Open Forum in Feelism (beside Find a tune). This is a screen inside the app. In an outside browser, the later automatic import is lost.

You can also read Forum in a browser. Register, log in, comment, and post a pack work from the browser too. Import pack and Save ZIP are from Feelism’s Forum. Unzip a saved ZIP and you get .musicxml.crypt. It will not open as it is, outside Feelism.

Search

You can search by title, author, or publisher. Sort is Recommended (the first setting) / New / Most imported. Comments do not mix into the pack list. They stay inside the thread.

Import

Press Import pack on the thread and the tunes show up in Find a tune. They are saved in Feelism’s folder on this computer (%AppData%\Feelism\ugc\), in the publisher folder named by the guide file inside the ZIP. The same file name is overwritten.

Save ZIP is written from Feelism’s Forum into the downloads folder, and you pick it in File Explorer. The contents are protected files for Feelism. A link in the browser cannot save them.

A post with no ZIP (a sample, for example) does not show an import button.

Comments and posts

Comments and posting a pack need a Forum account (email, password, and a handle). A subscription is not required. A browser and Feelism’s Forum are the same once you log in.

You register the first time you post or comment. You can change the handle from the account (past display names follow). You can Delete your own packs and comments (the list or the thread keeps “This post was deleted by the author.” Comments are left in place, not removed). A heart (like) can be pressed if you are logged in. A guest only sees the count. If you forget the password, you can reset it from the login screen.

You can import without paying. Playback needs a subscription. The chart stays visible even while it is locked. Details are in Your own charts and Paid tunes and the lock.

To publish a pack yourself, see Publish a pack.
